Ihre Aufgaben

Entwickelung und Implementierung von laserbasierten Schweißverfahren für die Herstellung von Batterien
Materialcharakterisierung und -auswahl, zur Verbesserung der Ergebnisse der Laserbearbeitung
Implementierung und Überwachung von Qualitätskontrollmaßnahmen für Laserprozesse
Leitung von oder Mitarbeit an Forschungsprojekten zur Entwicklung innovativer Laseranwendungen
Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zur Optimierung bestehender Prozesse und Behebung von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit Laseranwendungen

Ihr Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Laserphysik, Optik, Materialwissenschaften, Maschinenbau oder eines verwandten Fachgebiets
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Laserschweißtechnologien in der Batterieindustrie, mit Schwerpunkt auf der Prozessentwicklung
Eingehende Kenntnisse von Lasersystemen, einschließlich CO2-, Faser- sowie Diodenlasern und deren Anwendungen in der Batterieproduktion
Ausgeprägte Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, sich an die sich verändernden Anforderungen eines schnelllebigen, dynamischen Arbeitsumfelds anzupassen
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Kooperationsfähigkeiten in Englisch und Deutsch

Your tasks

Development and implementation of laser-based welding processes for the production of batteries
Material characterization and selection to improve the results of laser processing
Implementation and monitoring of quality control measures for laser processes
Leading or participating in research projects to develop innovative laser applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize existing processes and troubleshoot issues related to laser applications

Your profile

Degree in laser physics, optics, materials science, mechanical engineering or a related field
Proven experience in the application of laser welding technologies in the battery industry, with a focus on process development
In-depth knowledge of laser systems, including CO2, fiber and diode lasers and their applications in battery production
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to the changing demands of a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and German
